Dorset reproduction - lambs weaned per year

  • Average was 1.59 with a standard deviation of 0.886
  • 157 ewes, or 76.6% averaged more than 1 lamb raised to 40 days of age (eligible for weaning) per year
  • 62 ewes, or 30.2% averaged more 2 or more lambs raised to 40 days of age (eligible for weaning) per year
  • 16 ewes, or 7.8% averaged more 3 or more lambs raised to 40 days of age (eligible for weaning) per year
