Ewes are managed on the Cornell STAR reproductive management system.

Sorting for lambing

Ewes determined to be late pregnant by udder palpation are brought into the lambing barn for appropriate feeding and to watch for signs of labor. In good weather, some ewes may be left to lamb on pasture.
